Obama says he will find votes to pass the US Senate climate bill - Politics - Renewable energy news - Recharge - wind, solar, biofuels, wave/tidal/hydro and geothermal: "“I want you to know, the votes may not be there right now, but I intend to find them in the coming months,” he told an audience at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
“I will continue to make the case for a clean energy future wherever and whenever I can,” he pledged. “I will work with anyone to get this done – and we will get it done.”
Obama’s comments were among the few he has made to rally public support for the bill since it was introduced last month by Senators John Kerry, a Massachusetts Democrat, and Joe Lieberman, a former Democrat who now represents Connecticut as an independent."
