Experts Shine A Light On Solar Power Benefits - cbs4.com:
"COCONUT CREEK (CBS4) ― Students at the Junior Achievement of South Florida program appeared eager to ask questions about solar energy and the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

About 50 elementary aJunior Achievement of South Floridand middle school students learned about renewable energy and participated in solar energy activities to kickoff the second annual National Solar Day at an educational center in Coconut Creek.

Students from schools throughout Broward County gathered at the Junior Achievement of South Florida program Friday where they learned about the benefits of solar power and how the United States would benefit by being less dependent on oil.

A solar panel expert was also asked questions that related to the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

'How did the oil spill start?' students asked Rob Kornahrens of Advanced Roofing, one of the speakers. Kornahrens runs a company that supplies solar panels throughout the Southeastern United States."
