Guaranteed Savings:

Our company has created a strategic partnership with an engineering company with over 200 years of combined industry experience in which we are now able to offer a “Energy Savings Guarantee” backed by surety bond removing all financial risk along with a capital leasing option all with paybacks under 3 yrs. I would like to speak with you in more detail about this relationship and all that we can now offer you and your company. Below is some additional information:

The information provided to you at no cost and no obligation and includes guarantees:

  1. Specific Percentage of savings
  2. Project Cost
  3. Payback / ROI
  4. Capital and Leasing options
  • All of the above are guaranteed in writing and backed by a surety bond, removing all financial risk
  • International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol, Option C (US DOE)

How We Get Results:

We apply a "whole facility" approach to energy cost reduction by applying different technologies to treat most of the various energy consuming loads in a facility. We can do what you might typically think of when you think of energy conservation such as replace your current equipment or audit your bills for errors, etc. But more importantly we work to improve the efficiency of your current equipment and systems and reduce your facilities' kilowatt hour, Therm and water consumption. Some of our treatments include but are not limited to the following:

  • Intelligent HVAC/R controls
  • Energy management based on occupancy
  • Lighting retrofits upgrades and controls
  • High efficiency transformers
  • Demand controlled ventilation
  • Power quality improvements
  • Electrical sine wave modification
  • Demand response and load curtailment
  • Solar, wind, geothermal
  • Energy procurement
  • Refrigeration/ AC oil supplementation
  • Variable speed/ frequency drives
  • Liquid pressure amplification
  • ECM motors
  • Thermal qualities simulation
  • Building envelope solutions
  • Building automation systems
  • Water management solutions
  • Ultrasonic leak detection/ remediation
  • Consulting for LEED / Energy Star

Our goal is to reduce your kilowatt-hour, Therm and water consumption and save you money on your motors, lights, refrigeration, heating and air conditioning. The aggregate of many saves across most of a facility's loads amounts to big savings overall and our typical projects yield an 8% to 30% reduction to the bottom line on the electric, gas and water bills. Our savings projections are fully guaranteed in writing and backed by a surety bond underwritten by an A+ rated major insurance carrier.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING:

"The work performed for 3M was up to our exacting standards.  Most importantly all benchmarks were met, including cost, timeline, savings and return on investment. Please thank your team of engineers, project managers, electricians and HVAC professionals for their efforts.  It was their dedication and hard work which led to a successful overall project"

"Since the installation in our office building we have been enjoying the following benefits - an 18% reduction in our kilowatt hours and an average $11,000 per month decrease on our monthly electric bills. I simply can not say enough. Your staff was courteous and professional and the whole installation was transparent"

"The work you did was professional and the savings we are getting are exactly what you said they would be. The installation and operation of your equipment really is turnkey and truly does not change how we operate one iota. I would never profess to knowing all the engineering principles behind what you do but I certainly understand the positive impact your work is having on UBS' financials.

"We are very pleased with the results and we are pleased that the actual conservation of energy is greater than what was guaranteed. Your program is a "no-brainer" and we firmly believe that all businesses can benefit from it. In fact we here at Franklin Consulting believe that all businesses have the environmental, societal and financial obligation to take full advantage of programs like yours"

This Savings Guarantee is possible through our Strategic Partnerships please contact us for a no risk consultation.

Renewable Tax Incentives face dim future

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- After years of rapid growth and darling status among many in Washington, the future of the American renewable energy industry is uncertain. That's because the government cash it has come to rely on may dry up on Dec. 31.

Before the Great Recession, renewable energy developments were helped by a tax credit, worth generally 30% of the cost of the project. When the recession hit, the stimulus package replaced those tax credits with direct cash grants of similar value. Cash is considered more beneficial than credit to the industry.

So far, the government has handed out about $5.4 billion, according to the Energy Department. Congress could vote to extend the grants, but that's highly unlikely. If they're allowed to expire, incentives for renewable energy will revert to the old tax credits.

"This is not a great place to be in," said Denise Bode, head of the American Wind Energy Association. "It's an economic opportunity that will be missed." The wind industry is already hurting -- even with the cash.

The amount of new electricity wind can generate declined 72% in the third quarter compared to the same time last year, according to the wind association.

Floridians supportive of Solar Energy

Monday, November 15, 2010 at 8:13:26 AM - by Nate Lew
Eighty-seven percent of Floridians very favorably view solar energy as well as other renewable sources, according to published reports.

Florida TaxWatch released a report describing a statewide survey in the Sunshine State that concludes renewable energy use is very popular and residents would not mind if their utility bill were to rise about one dollar to that end.

"This survey provides valuable insight for our new Governor, Cabinet and lawmakers as they work to build meaningful renewable energy policies that will create good paying jobs," said Dominic M. Calabro, President and CEO of Florida TaxWatch.

With a new governor, cabinet and legislative shifting power in Tallahassee, the study concludes now is the key time to redouble efforts on creating jobs and ensuring the govern ment spends wisely and responsibly.

"The benefits of a vibrant renewable energy policy should far outweigh both environmental and financial costs over the long term," Calabro said. "However, it is important to ensure consumers are ready and willing to make the necessary investment, particularly in this very tough economy."

FLA Renewable Job Discussion

Published: November 14, 2010

AVON PARK - "South Florida has the potential to become a renewable energy belt," said Dan Murphy, director, Highlands County Economic Development Commission, during the "Green Revolution, Green Jobs, Green Service Learning" day institute on Nov. 5. "It would sate the dire need for investment, job creation, and economic development. There is plentiful land, many potential third-party investors, a highly adaptive workforce, and an evolving transmission grid that makes it the ideal location."

Murphy joined Dr. Kevin Cooper, Indian River State College Banner Center for Energy, and Dr. John Alleyne, Highlands County, University of Florida Institute of Food and Agriculture Services (UF/IFAS) Agricultural Extension, for the South Florida Community College Honors Program's Day institute. The program provided insight on renewable energy and the impact it will have on local jobs.

Renewable energy sources include solar power, wind power, biomass, and biofuel. read the full story: http://www2.highlandstoday.com/content/2010/nov/14/LCNEWSO1-floridas-renewable-energy-job-potential-d/

Crippled Cruise Ship left adrift with no power

The powerless ship was pulled into port at 8:40 a.m. after an engine fire on Monday left it drifting without electricity 200 miles off the Mexican coast. All of the passengers were off the ship four hours later.

As for the rest of the 3,300 passengers, they dragged heavy suitcases from the ship into a port terminal, where they were given the option to board a chartered bus for an extended weekend at a San Diego hotel or transportation to the ship's point of origin, Long Beach, outside Los Angeles.
Passengers were told of a "flameless" fire in the engine room. Around 6 a.m. Monday, the ship shuddered violently and the lower level near the engine room filled with smoke. Those rooms were evacuated and passengers spent the rest of the cruise on higher decks, sleeping in lounge chairs at night.

No power meant no hot food or refrigeration. On Tuesday the U.S. military airlifted nonperishable food -- described as Spam, Pop Tarts, canned crab meat and other items -- onto the ship.
